Yukon River Tour by motorized boat "Dragonfly"

Departs Dawson City, travelling downstream on the Yukon River towards the border of Alaska. You will float by steep rock outcrops and crystal clear feeder streams. You will also pass by the occasional fish camp, where, during opening salmon fishing is done with a set net or a fishwheel.

Rock Outcrop along the RiverCreek

At the 40 Mile River, where an abandoned Gold Rush town site is located, the country opens up to magnificent mountain views until you reach the retreat (homestead) at Fanning Creek.

You may see bears or moose swimming across the river or walking along the shore. Bald eagle, falcon and other bird life can also be spotted.
